FAQ
Yes, and each needs a slightly different approach. Whale Rock and Goose Valley are secure estates where the setting and the security are part of what the buyer is paying for, so the listing needs at least one frame showing how the house sits in the estate. Keurbooms beachfront is the opposite job: the sea does the selling and the shoot is timed for the light on the water. Flag estate access arrangements when you book so we are not held at the gate.
Earlier than feels necessary. Plett runs on a holiday calendar and almost everything that wants to be live before the season is chasing the same few weeks of shooting, which is also when the weather is least predictable. If you know a mandate is coming, get the date held rather than waiting for the seller to finish styling. We would rather move a confirmed booking than tell you we have nothing left.
Yes, mainly in how much time the property gets. At the top of the Plett market a buyer is often deciding from another province or another country, so the gallery has to carry the whole property rather than tease it. That usually means a longer shoot, twilight for the hero frame, and aerials through our registered partner pilots to show the setting and the outlook. All of it is itemised in the quote rather than assumed.
Yes. A great deal of Plett stock earns its keep as holiday letting between sales, and letting photography has a different brief: it sells nights, so it leans on outdoor space, the braai and pool areas, and the feeling of arriving on holiday. Plett is the far end of our regular Garden Route run west from St Francis Bay, and we are along that corridor often. Travel is itemised as a clear line in your quote rather than hidden in the package. If you have more than one listing, or another agent in your office does, putting them on the same day brings that line down for everybody.
